We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Lakewood, Ohio. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with mandatory in-office work on Mondays and Tuesdays and remote work Wednesday through Friday. The position is set for an initial duration of six weeks, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

Responsibilities:
• Process invoices accurately, including data entry for utility and service providers.
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries in alignment with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.
• Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing financial operations and reporting.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies in accounts receivable and other financial entries.
• Maintain organized financial records to support audits and reporting requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding accounting processes and updates.• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and accounting entries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing.
• Familiarity with journal entries and reconciliation processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Prior experience in accounting or finance is an advantage but not required.
