The Undergraduate Advising and Success (UAS) unit is a student support, advising, academic assistance, retention, and service-oriented unit in the Division of Academic Affairs. Assisting students from admission through graduation, our mission is to be the single point of entry to provide resources and academic advising for new and continuing students to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve academic success and graduate in a timely manner.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Assistant Director, Health and Human Sciences Student Success Center assists in the oversight of day-to-day operations and activities of the Student Success Center (SSC), in addition to serving in the role as an advisor. Working independently, under limited supervision, the Assistant Director assists the Managing Director in leading, developing, coordinating, implementing, and assessing unit activities, advising services, and programs in accordance with California State University (CSU) and San Jos State University (SJSU) policies to ensure academic success for all students in the SSC.

CSU Salary Range: $6,320/month - $9,014/month
