Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Behavior Therapists. In this role, you will provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities in their home, school, or community settings. You will implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA and help children achieve meaningful developmental milestones.

Job Title: Entry-Level Behavior Therapist

Location: Orange County, California

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 behavior therapy sessions as outlined in individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior intervention plans.
• Collect and record data on client progress using designated tools/software.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision with BCBAs.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client care.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with children (paid or volunteer) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• Willingness to complete a background check and TB test as required by California law.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and play at floor level with children for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
