Job Description:

Role: Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)

Location: Gray Birch Residential Unit, Augusta, Maine

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk

Shift: Evenings (3p-11p)

Job Description:

As a CRMA at Gray Birch, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing high-quality care and medication administration under the supervision of registered nurses. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents by assisting with their medication needs and ensuring a safe and orderly environment.

The Work:

• Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and administers medications

• Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN

• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff

• Assists with keeping the patient's environment safe, clean, and orderly

You Have:

• Current State of Maine CRMA certification is required

• Personal Support Specialist (PSS) required or within 120 days of hire

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred

• 1 year or more of experience is preferred
