About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its strategic use of information technology in line with the overall mission of the institution. The CIO will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy that is closely aligned with the company's strategic plan. This includes setting priorities, projects, and future directions for IT functions, as well as leading the IT budgeting process and ensuring the integration and coordination of IT initiatives across various departments. The successful candidate will also be the senior spokesperson on IT matters, advising the President's Cabinet, and overseeing the management of the company's IT infrastructure. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a graduate degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five years of directly related experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education IT leadership, with expertise in enterprise-wide technology operations, strategic IT planning, and experience with SIS and ERP systems. Key skills and abilities include excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking, as well as a leadership style that is consistent with the culture and mission of the company.
