RESPONSIBILITIES: * Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/ or spoken material. * Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material. CLEARANCE: * TS SCI FSP EDUCATION: * Equivalent of four (4) years' full-time experience performing cryptologic language processing in the required language. * In lieu of an Associate's Degree, an additional two (2) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted for a total of six (6) years' experience. * For at least two (2) of the four (4) years' experience, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duties. * For no more than one (1) year of the required four (4) years, reporting shall be the primary duty. * Two (2) of the four (4) years' experience shall be within four (4) years of resume submission. * One (1) year experience typing on an English keyboard REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * ILR Skill Level minimum 2 with at least one 3 in Listening and Reading * Must be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission * Crypto Experience: o target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification. * Related Language Experience: o oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, doc exploitation, formal teaching. Ability to translate highly technical foreign language documents and audio files * Ability to translate gists that result in numerous product reports * Ability to provide quality control of both written and audio level 3 translations * Ability to perform complete translation from Chinese Mandarin into idiomatic English * Ability to extract and recover information that is deemed essential and/or critical * Ability to conduct comprehensive target and SIGINT development using agency-specific tools and databases * Has working knowledge of target analysis development skills to facilitate and provide recommended courses of action for multiple HUMINT and SIGINT operations PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS: * Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and lift up to 25 pounds.
