Game Industry Analyst

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience or strong desire to learn and grow knowledge of the Game/Graphics products and industry worldwide for the Mobile, XR (AR/VR/MR) and PC segment.
2. Good understanding of the game industry and the ecosystem that supports game development.
3. Good knowledge of Salesforce and data management.
4. The ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
5. Well-organized and comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

1. You will work closely with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Game Studios team to identify up-and-coming games and the technologies used to build the games (e.g., Game Engine, Graphics API...). The information you collect will be put into Salesforce to share the data with other Qualcomm Snapdragon Game Studio stakeholders.
2. The job will involve understanding how games are made, how Qualcomm's technology enables an excellent gaming experience, and how Qualcomm tracks the opportunities in Salesforce.
3. You will research game benchmark websites and provide an analysis of what games are used for Mobile, XR (AR/VR/MR), and PC benchmarking.
4. You will create Salesforce reports for management to understand tech enabling or marketing goals.

Do you want to help Qualcomm find the next big hit games for mobile, AR/VR, or PC? Snapdragon Game Studios is looking for a candidate to identify the next breakout games using Qualcomm tools and researching publicly available information about the game industry. You will work closely with Qualcomm's technical, marketing, business, and account management teams to identify up-and-coming games and the technologies used to build the game (e.g., Game Engine, Graphics API...). The information you collect will be put into Salesforce, where the data can be shared with other Qualcomm Stakeholders. The job will involve understanding how games are made, how hardware from Qualcomm enables an excellent gaming experience, and how to track the opportunities in Salesforce. A successful candidate will demonstrate:

1. Good understanding of the game industry and the ecosystem that supports game development.
2. Good knowledge of Salesforce and data management.

Minimum Qualifications:

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or Business Administration or have experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Good understanding of Salesforce.
2. Conducting research for the Business and Intelligence team, competitive analysis, industry news, and events.
3. Strong knowledge of the game developer industry and the tools used to make games.
4. Strong understanding of mobile, VR/AR, and PC gaming hardware.
5. Can read/write Mandarin.

Comments for Suppliers: Need someone with Gaming Industry knowledge and salesforce and data management skillsets. Must demonstrate organization skills and ability to deal with ambiguity along with all other requirements listed in the description.
