Schedule: Full-time Shift : Days Location: 7700 S BROADWAY, Littleton, 80122 The role you'll contribute: EKG Technician performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation. The value you'll bring to the team: Confirms that appropriate patient information is present and complete prior to starting a procedure. Confirms patient identification and understanding of procedure. Performs thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physician. Presents all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: HS GED COURSE COMPLETION: Successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter. Previous patient care experience; on the job training; good verbal and written skills; basic clerical, computer data entry and math skills. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AdventHealth
