  • Partner with legal counsel as needed to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEO, FMLA, ADA).
  • Coach and advise managers on handling sensitive HR matters, disciplinary processes, and employee engagement.
  • Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with portfolio company HR leaders to promote consistent employee relations practices across the investment portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting of employee relations cases using appropriate systems/tools.
  • Support the firm's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by advising on equitable practices and policies.
  • Lead or contribute to special HR projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification a plus).
  • 5+ years of employee relations or HR experience, preferably in financial services, private equity, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee issues.
  • Exceptional communication, mediation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance culture with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in or with private equity firms or portfolio companies.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR.
  • Familiarity with international employment law (if supporting global offices).

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Play a meaningful role in shaping organizational culture and ensuring employee well-being.
