GENERAL FUNCTION We strive to make our Guests Happy by making vision easy and enjoyable. The Target Licensed Store Manager leads a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet all brand goals and commitments. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure Team Members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching the playground rules. Set clear expectations for store readiness and guest service. Develop action plans for team development and hold team accountable. Provide timely, motivating, and developmental feedback. Create a culture of being Simple, Fun, and In-style. Conduct annual performance reviews and regular coaching sessions. Understand success drivers and identify opportunities for improvement. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and target hosts to enhance business performance. Recruit top talent and maintain a talent pipeline. Create effective schedules based on business trends and traffic. Manage payroll, personnel paperwork, and store operations, including shrink and inventory management. Ensure compliance with policies, merchandising standards, and sales strategies. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Opticianary License or ABO Certification as required by state law 5+ years in customer service and retail 3+ years in management or supervision Experience in recruiting, talent development, and sales Strong motivating and influencing skills Benefits include health care, retirement, paid time off, employee discounts, and competitive pay based on experience and location.
