In this role, you are responsible for integrating and effectively communicating scientific/medical information and the value proposition of the company’s product and pipeline to the medical community and other key internal and external audiences. Responsibilities include: Identify, gain access to, and develop professional relationships with thought leaders, investigators, providers, and organizations within your assigned geography. Articulate relevant scientific and clinical information related to the therapeutic area and product lifecycle to healthcare professionals and researchers. Develop and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with thought leaders in healthcare, academia, payer, and government sectors as per strategic plans. Lead strategic design and execution for congresses, including planning and communication with stakeholders. Deliver impactful presentations in various settings such as advisory boards, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare decision-makers. Support research initiatives and clinical site investigators as needed. Essential Requirements: Master’s degree in biomedical sciences (e.g., NP, PA, RPh) or healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Health Policy). At least 2 years of experience as an MSL or 4 years in a customer-facing clinical/pharma/biotech role. Experience in gastroenterology/hepatology or related areas is a plus. Residency within the territory or boundaries. Ability to travel up to 70%, including overnight/weekend travel, with a valid driver’s license. Desired Qualifications: Advanced biomedical degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP). Proficiency with field medical technology and platforms. Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. At Syneos Health, we value diversity and inclusion.
