Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled mental health counselor to provide high-quality assessment and counseling services to individuals and families. This role involves delivering individual, family, and group therapy; conducting crisis interventions; creating treatment plans; and coordinating care with community resources to support client well-being. We also welcome counseling and social work interns seeking clinical hours under supervision.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and follow-up support as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, progress notes, and outcome documentation.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, schools, and community agencies to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team meetings.
Promote culturally competent services and engage in community outreach.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
State of Utah current state licensure or certification (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMHC) or eligibility for supervised licensure.
Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations preferred.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapies (CBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms.
Familiarity with community resources that support mental health and wellness.
