We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWe are currently recruiting for a Transporter to join our team! As our Transporter, you willberesponsible forgreeting and transporting patients to and from all major ancillary departments using proper safety techniques and mode of transportation.We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. What you will do in this role:You will transport patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas as requested.You will assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs or stretchers.You will greet and assist customers throughout the hospital.You will collect and deliver specimens, orders, requisitions and equipment to appropriate destinations.What Qualifications you will need: At least one year of related experience preferredStrong interpersonal and customer service skills requiredAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbsCurrent BLS through the American Heart AssociationisrequiredBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNo Travel RequiredNo experience Required Years of Experience HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is located in Sarasota County, FL.
