Job Description

Our client in Grantsburg is seeking a 1st Shift Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be part of the Materials Planning Department supporting production scheduling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Grantsburg, WI

Pay Range: $30/hr

Shift: 1st 

What's the Job?

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle.
• Coordinate the movement of materials with materials planning, procurement, and supply chain staff.
• Maintain schedules, records, and reports related to material tracking and resource availability.
• Execute system transactions to support receipt, storage, and transfer of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels, generate tracking reports, and perform data entry as needed.

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory and production control.
• Four-year college degree in business, engineering, or material management is required ; certification in supply chain management is a plus.
• Strong analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and recommend automation opportunities.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with the ability to understand electronic processing.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external contacts.
