A Fortune 1000 client is looking for candidates with Test Automation experience in technologies such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, RESTAssured, JMeter, etc. This project is currently in the design stage. The project deals with trying to automate the process for scaled consumer electronic video/entertainment services and integrating existing vendor platforms with the client's inhouse test automation systems with eventual migration to the AWS cloud. The work schedule could be a hybrid model of 3 to 4 days in office and 1 to 2 days remote depending on program schedule and related deliverables.

-Experience with testing within an Agile development environment
-Experience with JIRA
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or programming
Understanding of QA methodologies and developing test scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing
Testing mindset - natural curiosity and eagerness to grow + learn new things at DIRECTV
Build automation scripts (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI) ensuring code coverage
and quality)
Create, execute, improve, and maintain automation test scripts through standard
methodologies, closely monitor test results for swift feedback, and participate in
peer code reviews
Use good testing practices, like pair programming, code reviews, Test Driven
Development (TDD), Exploratory Testing, Behavior Driven Development (BDD),
Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD)
Identify, evaluate, report and document defects, questionable functions and
inconsistencies in product content and outlook during the design and
implementation phase
Conduct Manual testing when required
Troubleshoot production issues as needed
