Job Description

As a Security Professional - Hospital Morgue Watch in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication. You will be an integral part of a team that values reliability, agility, and integrity, all while making a positive difference in an environment that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and managing visitor protocols.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions or information, addressing their needs in a professional manner.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain detailed logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must comply with all hospital requirements, including required vaccines and the ability to work in areas such as the morgue.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
