Job Description

Senior Military Operations Analyst

Parsons is looking for a Senior Military Operations Analyst to join our team! In this role you will serve under an Army Deputy Chief of Staff to provide senior-level Operational Environment (OE) training to ensure understanding of the current and future battlefield for US Army and other consumers at Fort Eustis, VA.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Research and develop or update TOEs and WMSLs for TRADOC Standard Scenarios, studies, and ARCIC Campaign of Learning experiments using National Ground Intelligence Center's (NGIC) JCOFA and other validated IC products.
  • Provide threat country-specific TOEs at brigade-level detail and government-directed scenario specific TOEs at company or battery-level detail.
  • Provide scenario-specific WMSLs at entity-level detail. Support intelligence analysts in updating US Army training scenarios and studies.
  • Conduct scenario reviews and provide timeline proposals to identify, update/improvement opportunities of threat descriptions.
  • Support scenario-specific graphical threat portrayal in government-utilized mapping tools for use in all TRAC models and simulations.
  • Input contractor-developed graphical TOE products and military graphical control measures into a government-utilized computer mapping tool for use in TRAC models and simulations, as required.
  • Provide a graphical product and associated mapping program data files which depicts selected threat TOEs on a scenario-specific map together with graphical control measures. Post required documentation on SIPR shared drive.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience
  • Previous military experience - retired US military Combat Arms or Intel
  • Experience in delivering and supporting professional large-scale training exercises
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience in how to define the scope and context of the OE for senior leaders
  • In coordination with the OEE and the IC, understand how to define the battlefield and describe these threat strategies, doctrine, and capabilities; previous experience in understanding how to conduct intelligence preparation of the operational environment
  • Understanding of US Army training methodologies including large-scale exercises in Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE)

Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
