Apple IS&T Splunk team is seeking an outstanding hands-on Splunk administrator with a passion for managing multiple large Splunk enterprise clusters handling high data volumes with diverse use cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented individual to administer Splunk deployments that enable Apples business.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with various Apple teams to onboard logs to Splunk, understand their requirements, and develop searches and dashboards.
2. Optimize performance of Splunk searches, dashboards, and data ingestion.
3. Troubleshoot Splunk deployments.
4. Develop and manage custom Python scripts to integrate with Splunk.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Splunk apps development and management.
• Hands-on experience managing distributed Splunk enterprise cluster infrastructure and related components.
• In-depth knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and visualization techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related fields, with 3+ years of experience in IT.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of on-time delivery.
• Ability to add value to user teams by looking beyond the curve.
• Familiarity with and implementation knowledge of cloud technologies.
