We're looking for a storyteller with the ability to write and edit content for retail and online consumer tax products for clarity, usability, and inspiration. You'll collaborate with the marketing team, customer experience strategy team, content strategy team, experience design teams, website development team, IT, and product management to innovate and elevate the customer experience across H&R Block's suite of tax prep products. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Create and follow standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, sun-setting, and repurposing Create, update, and apply tone to website, retail, software, online, and mobile help using authoring and editing tools in both Mac and PC environments Serve as content liaison between the enterprise and content strategy teams, bringing issues to the forefront and following through on opportunities for improvement Create end-user documentation for product functionality Initiate and manage a review cycle, providing regular updates to the content strategy team Own content kick-off through BA hand-off in development life cycle Identify content for testing as well as initiate and document the test cycle and outcomes Understand the tenets of influence theory and apply them to content strategy with an eye to testing inside and outside the tax prep experience Assist in training other team members Initiate and manage a review cycle What you'll bring to the team... Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
