The Little Gym & Snapology Instructor: Part-Time, Highly Active & Engaging Role! Are you energetic, fun-loving, and passionate about working with kids? The Little Gym & Snapology of [Your Location] is looking for enthusiastic, active, and engaging instructors to join our team! This is not your typical part-time job-our instructors move, play, and interact with kids and families every day, combining movement, creativity, and hands-on STEM fun to make a lasting impact!
Position Overview: As a Little Gym & Snapology Instructor, you will lead structured, high-energy classes for children ages 4 months to 12 years old. Our curriculum blends The Little Gym's confidence- and coordination-building movement activities with Snapology's hands-on STEAM, robotics, and LEGO-inspired challenges. This position is paid per class ($18-$20 per class), with additional opportunities to work birthday parties, Parent Survival Nights, and special events for extra earnings.
What You'll Do: - Lead age-appropriate classes using The Little Gym's movement-based curriculum and Snapology's hands-on STEM activities
- Engage actively with children and families in a fun, supportive, and interactive way
- Demonstrate and assist with basic gymnastics, creative building, and STEM concepts
- Keep the energy high, encourage participation, and create a positive, memorable experience for all families
- Set up and clean up equipment and materials before and after each class
- Build strong relationships with kids and parents, making them feel welcome and valued
- Support birthday parties, Parent Survival Nights, and special events (additional earning opportunities!)
What We're Looking For: - A fun, energetic, and outgoing personality
- A love for working with children in an active, hands-on, and creative environment
- Ability to physically demonstrate movements and participate in classes (this is an active role!)
- Interest or comfort in guiding kids through hands-on STEM, LEGO, and robotics activities
- Strong communication skills to engage with both kids and parents
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in gymnastics, sports, dance, childcare, STEM, or teaching is a plus but not required-we provide training!
Compensation & Benefits: - $18-$20 per class (please note this is not per hour), after training period has ended
