Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist Location: Tuba City, Arizona Shift: Rotating – Day, Evening, or Night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime Facility Type: JCAHO-accredited Regional Health Care Facility Employment Type: Contract or Permanent (as applicable) Job Summary: The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing specimen processing, diagnostic testing, and result reporting in accordance with regulatory standards and institutional policies. The role supports a hospital-based laboratory offering a wide array of services, including: Chemistry Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Phlebotomy Blood Bank Microbiology Clinical Microscopy This is a 24/7 laboratory requiring flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of one (1) year documented bench experience in each area of high complexity clinical testing. Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Laboratory Science Chemical, Physical, or Biological Sciences Allied Health, Healthcare, or Healthcare Management-related field Must include 35 credit hours of combined coursework in: Biological Sciences Microbiology Organic Chemistry Biochemistry Mathematics
