Travelling Commercial Construction Superintendent

Travel Required: Texas, Louisiana & Colorado

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

We’re hiring a Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys hands-on project leadership, and can manage job sites from start to finish with professionalism and efficiency.

About the Role

As the Superintendent, you will oversee one project at a time , managing all job site activities and ensuring the project moves according to schedule, plans, and quality expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Day-to-day job site supervision
• Coordinating subcontractors and handling onsite logistics
• Reading and interpreting construction plans to guide field teams
• Ensuring the project stays on track and meets deadlines
• Handling deliveries, equipment needs, and job site safety
• Communicating progress with the project team
• Traveling to project sites across Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and scheduling
• Ability to work on their feet, climb ladders, and manage physical job site tasks
• Solid plan-reading skills to assist subcontractors
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Willingness to travel frequently

Preferred Software Experience:

PlanSwift, Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, Sage (a plus, not required)

We also welcome candidates with:

• Degrees in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration
• Associate degrees with some hands-on construction experience

Training is available for motivated candidates with the right foundation.
