This role is part of the Product, Design & Marketing team on Apple Services, covering areas such as media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps. We're searching for a UX Writer to design new and better experiences across our services through the lens of language. Specifically, this role will collaborate with the Business at Apple design team, crafting clear, user-friendly content for businesses of all sizes. The Writing arm of our Product, Design & Marketing team works across services and products, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. As a UX Writer focused on Business, you'll be responsible for many things, including: Writing, editing, and optimizing user-facing content for business products, including tools and related emails. Working on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education. Boiling down complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy. Collaborating with cross-functional partners and senior leadership to define and execute our product roadmap. Addressing feedback and improving performance of our content and customer experience. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience. Have an unrelenting passion for user-focused product experiences and are curious about every step in the user's journey, from onboarding to error states. Have experience working on enterprise tools or other B2B products. Know how to work with wireframes and functional specs, and are familiar with design tools like Sketch. Develop well-informed points of view, while also remaining open to adjustments based on input from others. Can write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with input from multiple team members. Are comfortable managing several projects simultaneously and able to dynamically reprioritize as needed. Deliver passionate and impactful presentations at all levels of an organization. Collaborate and build relationships across product functions, demonstrating an ability to circulate and advocate for language. Have an inexhaustible attention to detail. Enjoy contributing to and implementing style guides and shared nomenclature across Apple services. Preferred Qualifications Deep curiosity about user behavior and an eagerness to influence product direction through language. An understanding of industry standards paired with a strong sense of Apple's design and editorial standards. Experience working on 0-to-1 products. Know and are excited about evolving the Apple ecosystem of hardware, software, and services. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
