Job Title: Welder
Location: Fremont, CA (On-site)
Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor

Adecco is looking for a skilled Welder to join our local manufacturing Client and contribute to one of today’s most exciting clean energy technologies. This is a hands-on, on-site role in our Fremont, CA facility.

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpret work instructions and welding requirements

• Perform TIG, stick, and oxy-acetylene welding in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions

• Position, clamp, and assemble parts in fixtures

• Inspect and count parts for quality control prior to welding

• Operate welding equipment and shop tools safely and effectively

• Conduct leak tests on finished products

• Fabricate components for solid oxide fuel cell generators

• Maintain equipment and support shop organization (5S)

• Assist in creating fixtures for assembly and fabrication

• Recommend improvements to welding and fabrication methods

• Complete paperwork accurately and on time

• Support other duties as needed, including occasional travel to other local facilities

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1+ year of welding experience (TIG, pulsed TIG, stick, oxy-acetylene)

• Mechanical skills and ability to use standard shop tools

• Experience following detailed work instructions

• Preferred: TIG welding with Inconel/Stainless steel, interpreting welding prints, or a welding certificate

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Must wear PPE; respirator fit test may be required

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
