Commercial Insurance Inside Sales Agent

Summary:

Established Insurance agency seeking a sales-oriented candidate who demonstrates clear knowledge and understanding of commercial lines insurance coverages.

Job Description:

• Full knowledge of insurance products and usages

• Contacts current, past and potential clients to solicit new business.
• Follows up on leads and responds promptly and efficiently to referrals.
• Listens attentively to the needs of the client and makes recommendations accordingly.
• Requests referrals from current insurance clients.
• Creates and maintains accurate and up-to-date client lists assuring their needs are realized and that they are provided with relevant insurance information appealing to their specific need

• Ability to advise and consult with clients
• Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
• Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
• Call existing insured to compliment or "round out" personal accounts.
• Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client's business.
• Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
• Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers, and vendors.
• Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience handling Commercial Insurance Accounts
• Ability to meet clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
• Must hold an active state P&C License.
• Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solicit and close business over the phone
