Job description

Brothers is looking for a Maintenance technician to maintain efficient operations and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Must have a valid driver’s license, must complete, and pass a background check, and must be authorized to work in the U.S. Brothers will provide training for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacement.

Ideal candidate:

• Solid work history
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers/supervisors/co -workers.
• Able to work independently but also as a team player.
• Follow direction from supervisors/customers and complete work instructions.
• Must be punctual.
• Must be able to sustain bending, pushing, reaching, lifting (up to 50lbs.) and squatting daily.
• Must maintain all Brothers equipment.
• Follow policies and procedures without exception.

Responsibilities:

• Daily repairs and upkeep of the property.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
• Care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by Brothers and/or property and/or Management Company.
• Responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Responsible for courteous, efficient response always.
• Always operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Responsible for securing the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
• Perform related work as required.
• Comply with all Fair Housing Rules.
• Have excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate superior communication and critical thinking skills.
• Follow direction from supervisors/customers and complete work instructions.
• Must be able to sustain bending, pushing, reaching, lifting (75lbs.) and squatting daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Rate $27-$32/hr Depending on qualifications.
