Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

Join our dynamic welding and fabrication team. This role involves performing MIG welding and some solid core welding on high-strength steel. You will be challenged with out-of-position welding in tight spaces and expected to proficiently use a variety of tools including plasma cutters, laser cutters, material handling equipment, and cranes.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld raw materials based on blueprints.
• Perform MIG welding, which constitutes 90% of the work.
• Conduct out-of-position welding in tight spaces.
• Utilize plasma and laser cutters, and material handling equipment.
• Interpret and fabricate projects from blueprints.
• Exhibit proficiency in MIG welding and vertical welding.
• Utilize pre-heating procedures and processes correctly.
• Demonstrate an understanding of metallurgy.
• Perform other business-related duties as required.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of MIG/flux core welding experience.
• Proficient fabrication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
• Mechanically inclined.

This is a Permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $28.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Carlisle,PA.
