About the Role
The Company is in search of a SVP/General Manager for its Medical Education division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership to drive business growth across the medical education and continuing medical education (CME) sectors. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the CME industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership position within an accredited medical education business. The SVP/General Manager will be tasked with managing all financial aspects of the business, identifying compliant funding opportunities, and creating best-in-class strategies for the development and submission of grant proposals. Additionally, the role involves establishing an organizational structure to ensure the success and accountability of all departments, as well as maintaining active membership and leadership positions in CME industry organizations. Candidates for this role at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and must demonstrate a strong practical knowledge of CME, CE, and relevant accreditation policies and standards. The position demands a proactive leader with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. The SVP/General Manager will also be responsible for growing relationships with clinical experts, associations, and other partners to drive the business forward, and must be prepared to travel as needed. The ideal candidate will be a proven team player, highly organized, and capable of multitasking to accommodate shifting priorities.
