Job Description

Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the Verification and Validation (V&V) engineering team supporting product testing and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Range: $50 - $54 hourly W2

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute verification test methods, protocols, and reports for medical device components and systems
• Perform hands-on testing of electromechanical devices, including troubleshooting and rework
• Collaborate with design engineers to understand requirements and improve testing processes
• Document test results, analyze data, and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Support hardware and software testing activities, including system validation and stress testing

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 1+ years of experience in electromechanical V&V testing, preferably in regulated industries such as medical devices
• Experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment like oscilloscopes, DMM, force/pressure gauges, and flow meters
• Knowledge of medical device standards and requirements, including IEC 60601 testing
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
